Greetings and Welcome to Evolutionary Marvels
       This site is dedicated to posting super hero skins for the game The Sims by Maxis. Due to changes in The Skindex by Dark Jared he is no longer taking submissions for it and I felt it necessary to create a home for all the new super hero skins people are creating. Please check the submissions page for info on how to submit your skins here.
       The plan currently is to update this site once a week.

        Special thanks must go to Dark Jared who provided and excellent site for all of us (and is continuing his work through The Comic Skins Network) and Justin of Super Sims Skins who has loads of DC skins.

News:
03/09/02: Finishing off Tessa's skins from Fur & Brimstone. Also check out the new object... "Buddy Jesus" by Justin Pie.

03/02/02: Yup... update time. And I've gotten permission from Tessa of Fur & Brimstone to put her skins up on my site. I've got 9 of them up on the X-Men page and more to come. I'm also creating another file for each one (the adults at least)...a Hot Date Version. An excellent job I must say, especially for a person who created their own add-on meshes for all of them.
Also this week I've added the first of the Amalgam skins which I'm slowly working on. These are based on the post in the General Forum of the CSN board. So I give you The Living Thermostat.
Finally I've added a new set at the bottom of the main Skin page, If you need them the game's original Alternative wear (Formals, Nudes, Pajamas and Swimsuits) can now be downloaded here.

02/14/02: Well, I thought I would give a nice red skin to you all for Valentine's Day. So here is Magneto from X-Men: Evolution.

02/02/02: Justin Pie shows us he's not just another pretty object maker with this skin of Aki Ross from the Final Fantasy Movie.

01/30/02: End of month mini-update. One whole skin by me. Here's a close approximation of Clark Kent from the WB show "Smallville" as played by Tom Welling.
(See Joxer, some of us do pay attention ;) ).

01/26/02: Okay... There's been some changes made to the submission page as a result of some curcumstances that have popped up. I'll admit it... I've been starting to think of this page as a chore more than they pleasure it used to be due to all the extra leg work I've been having to do to make skins ready for posting so I'm not going to be doing as much of that but am going to require it in any further submissions. Also note that doing a minor change to a texture (.bmp) maybe "updating" it but if it is not your work originally you will have to go through whomever created it and where it is posted in order to get that update posted. Also a "Readme" file must be included giving credit to who did any of the meshes (cmx & skn) used in any submissions.

On a final note: This site is done by me for fun and will only be updated when I get a chance. Consistantly requesting when the next update is or to hurry up with it will force me to do an update.... but it will not be one you will enjoy as it will be to remove all work you have currently submitted. As will submitting something that is obviously the hard work of someone else, with "minor" changes just done to the textures.
